The Compliance Risk Analyst position is included in a workplace model that does allow for a combination of in-office and remote work.


As a Compliance Risk Analyst essential duties include:



  • Reviews lending data from dwelling secured loans for accuracy and completion.

  • Ensures compliance risk is managed for the reporting of HMDA and CRA information for assigned lines of business, minimizing exposure to regulatory scrutiny.

  • Utilize RATA Comply Suite to assist with HMDA and CRA Monitoring

  • Assist in Fair Lending Monitoring utilizing RATA Comply software for analyzing data collected

  • Participate in the preparation, training and implementation of new regulations across the enterprise

  • Participate in community engagements to ensure understanding of community needs related to banking products and services

  • Consistently conduct monitoring and trend analysis bank wide across a variety of business units to understand current state of Risk Management program.

  • Prepares and Provides reports of any findings or concerns relating to potential violations of BSA, AML, or OFAC to the BSA Officer including but not limited to:

  • High Risk customer identification and monitoring

  • Daily Anti-Money laundering software monitoring and analyzation

  • Preparation and submission of regulatory reports daily

  • Utilizing independent judgment, advise and support Risk Department. Interpret policies/procedures and advise regarding risk and operational day-to-day questions.

  • Support Risk Officer with monitoring of risk and compliance functions throughout the bank

  • Maintain current knowledge of operational and compliance regulations and best practices to support personnel in their daily functions.  

  • Provide support and organize the FHLBI grant process with the CRA Officer

  • Conduct Branch Reviews for risk and compliance procedures and regulatory requirements per a documented schedule.

  • Assist in Customer Complaint Process as needed.

  • Assist Risk Manager with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity

  • Attend Compliance/CRA Committee and SAR Committee meetings


Skills Needed



  • Experience working with Bank Secrecy Act

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven ability to analyze situations to make confident and knowledgeable decisions.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

  • Proven ability to be a self-starter and work independently to meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities.

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
